Uppercase letters appear on screen when typing lowercase due to CAPS LOCK on.
Cause:
The CAPS LOCK key was pressed or turned on at some point. If not pressed, some program may have turned it on.
Solution:
Press the CAPS LOCK key. The keyboard should revert to lower-case letters. The CAPLOCK light should go out.
NOTE: Sometimes CAPS LOCK light will be on when in lowercase or when in uppercase. Exiting all programs and rebooting the computer should solve the problem.
